A computer keyboard is the most commonly used input device. The
component that closely resembles a typewriter is called the keyboard. It has
keys which are used to type the data to be entered into the computer. A
keyboard has many keys. Alphabetic keys,
Numeric keys, Function keys, Arrow keys, special keys. You must have used these key while operating
your computer. The keyboard, the character on the key gets printed on the
monitor screen in the position where the cursor is present. Cursor is the
blinking line that can be seen on the screen. It specifies the current position
on the screen where the typed character will appear.
